I’m a Photographer + Stylist + Art director,
based in Bangalore, working across fashion,
fine-art & portraiture.
Having grown up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, I tend
to center my work around people who reflect a sense of familiarity with those I grew up among.
Primarily, the photographic medium is my playground for engaging with our cultural landscape, questioning the systems of representation and staging newer narratives,
while deeply infusing it with personal significance.
It is through my work that I try to rethink &
unlearn our inherited notions of beauty and seek it in
spaces that are often overlooked.
My practice is grounded in a fascination with colour, shape, body forms and the materiality of cloth, while casting an intentional and delibrate gaze.
