Hi, I’m Shaheen! I’m a Photographer & Creative
Director based in Bangalore- working across fashion,
fine-art & portraiture.
I was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and
often center my work around people who reflect
a sense of familiarity with those I grew up with.
Making photos is my playground for engaging with
our cultural landscape, reimagine ways of seeing
and to shape stories that feel personal and true to
my politics and values.
My practice is grounded in a playful fascination
with gesture, colour and the materiality of cloth,
while casting a highly intentional gaze.
